How to Get Rid of Fleas
If your dog has gotten fleas and you have just realized it, there are a few things that you need to do in order to take care of the situation. You need to understand that it will take a few days to do everything as far as the cleaning process will go.
The first thing that you should recognize is that fleas will directly live on the hosts that they start on, but the eggs can live on either the host or the bedding of the host. This means that the eggs can live on the bed where your dog sleeps and continue to hatch and live on your dog if you don’t carefully clean everything. The first step you need to take in order to get rid of the fleas is to wash your dog in a medicine of some kind. In the store, you can buy a medicine that will be used when you wash your dog to kill all of the fleas.
The next thing that you will need to do is to wash all of the bedding and areas that the dog might have been. If there are any eggs in that area, they could eventually hatch and bring about more fleas that will spread into your entire home. If you think that the dog might have gone anywhere else in your home, you should make sure that you clean all linens and fabric that might have come near your dog. You want to make sure that you kill all the eggs that might possibly be there.
